Everything You Need to Know About Our Winter Camp
Again please... if my child brings two friends, the day is free for all of them?
Yes, the usual cost would be £125 per child which would mean a cost of £375 for your child and two friends, but this is the season of giving and if your child brings two friends along for a fun day of play and learning, we will make it FREE for all of them. There's no catch, it's our way of saying thank you!
We'll be away on the 28th. So we miss out?
Not at all. This 1-day camp will be as much fun as a holiday, but we understand that some people will have already made plans. No problem. If your child sends three friends in their place, then their places will still be FREE! This is a great way for you to support your child's friends and the community, even if your child can't join us.
How old do the friends need to be that my child brings?
Any age between 5 and 16 years, and perhaps working towards 7+, 11+, 13+, 16+, SATs or GCSEs. This will be fun for all ages of children and beneficial to children and parents. If in doubt, give us a call and check.
Why do it for free?
Life is about networking and making good, worthwhile connections. This is an opportunity for your child to share their experience and success at Parch Hill with their friends. It's also a chance for us to show what we offer and what a great programme we have, as well as the incredible students who are already a part of our Parch Hill family. It's a win-win for you and for us!
Will children want to do this during the holidays?
Absolutely! This isn't school, this is Parch Hill, and we do things differently! The whole day will be about fun and games. Yes, there will be some learning thrown in, but it won't feel like school and there won't be any homework! The whole day has been planned around fun, but with the idea of keeping that intellectual fire lit in your child's brain and making sure that they are in tip top academic condition ready for the return in the new year. The majority of children spend the holidays away from any academic pursuits and it takes time to get back into the swing of things when they return to school in January, which could put them on the back foot. So, think of this as a booster shot for the young brain. Not to mention that it'll put them ahead of the game when they do get back into the classroom!
What if my friends cancel on the day?
If your friends cancel on the day of the camp, the "free attendance" offer will no longer apply, and you will be required to pay the £125 fee for your child’s participation. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the situation, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
